Piano Piano
I can’t remember the exact day that I read it. I do know that it was in 2024, on Facebook, and that we were across the world from each other. My Canadian friend, Cathy McPherson, living in Italy, wrote the following words: “The Italians have a saying, ‘piano piano,’ which means slowly slowly… and I love that saying. Because life should have some kind of melody to it. That’s the beauty that gets mixed in with each day. So, piano piano. Here’s to life unfolding in ways we never imagined.” My earth angel friend changed my life that day. My whole body paid attention. This is not the first time that words have transformed my life, and I hope that it is not the last. At the time, I was also reading the book Slow Productivity: The Lost Art of Accomplishment Without Burnout by Cal Newport.
My top values are love, grace, calmness, kindness, and now health. I have dedicated the last 11 years to learning how to love and accept myself, and to supporting others in doing the same. My whole life has been devoted to learning what it means to be fully human and fully divine at the same time; some might label it a life/soul purpose to learn how to be responsive to life lovingly and gracefully.
Piano piano has supported soul alignment because it reminds me to create a value-lead life. Living your values requires commitment and being only available for what is aligned with your soul. The way to easily identify your top values is to imagine your ideal life three years from now. Describe that life out loud: My life is calm. My life is filled with grace and love. My life is filled with kindness. My life manifests from ease, grace, love, kindness, and flow. My body is a priority and is healthy.
Everything that shows up in life is information. Here are some examples of some of the ways that piano piano is supporting me:
Piano piano is remembering that my greatest dreams that came true are becoming a family with my best friend, becoming a mother to my two favourite people, creating a nurturing home, and saying ‘yes’ to three black cats.
Piano piano means supporting the people that I am meant to support in the way I am meant to support them, including my family.
Piano piano means loving manifestation as a lifestyle.
Piano piano means allowing myself to only run one company and work three days a week (semi-retirement).
Piano piano means being committed to a bedtime, nutrition, exercise, and supplements to help heal my body.
Piano piano means continuing to alchemize chaos into the highest experience of love.
Piano piano means saying ‘yes’ to receiving an amazing cruise to Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland, and Quebec with my mother.
Piano piano means enhancing people’s lives by clearing blocks and allowing activations through akashic records coaching, teaching, training, and development.
Piano piano means creating and living a life that can be supported by spirit, family, and self.
Piano piano means creating a life that is within capacity and also allowing in all supports.
Piano piano means receiving more joy, fun, and rest.
Piano piano means clearing what comes up to clear and teaching others how to clear for themselves.
Piano piano is my answer to the lifelong question of, “How do I release and clear the pattern of burnout?”
Piano piano means a deeper relationship with love and grace.
It is lovely that when we upgrade one area of our life, the rest of our life upgrades, as well.
What is your version of ‘piano piano’ reminding you to do, for you to live in your highest alignment?
I am always cheering you on in what is most meaningful to you.
Love and Grace,
